Ame o Tsugeru Hyouryuu Danchi

Unfortunately filled with tropes, but still good despite that. The animation and art direction are fantastic without feeling like they are trying to showoff, but I do feel like this should be the standard of today (given what we've seen when animation studios are given proper time and budget) and not some outlier. Drifting Home is also longer than it needs to be, there are many slower parts that won't appeal to the young target audience and montages that wont appeal to most others. All-in-all it's worth the watch for anime fans but maybe skip it if that doesn't interest you. read more
