Boku dake ga Inai Machi

Whenever a tragedy is about to happen, Satoru gets sent back several minutes before the accident occurs. What's pretty crazy is as a 29-year-old, while being wrongfully accused of murdering someone very close to him, he is fact, sent back 18 years in the past as a 10 year old. He still has a mind of a 29-year-old and he's a small young child with other young children. I found this show to be incredibly intense, and felt a great amount of care for the characters. I recommend this series, it's good stuff.

I wouldn't claim that Erased was the best thriller, or mystery, anime out there. I don't usually watch those genres, and I'm sure that people who do would pick a show that more closely adheres to the expectations of said genres. Erased doesn't bother with coming up with multiple suspects, or with obscuring the stakes. The story is excellent, giving me re: zero vibes. A 29-year-old man called Satoru discovers that he has the power to go back in time to stop a murder/death from happening. That night his mother stays in his house and the next day discovers her killed. And this is when he goes back in time. However, he goes back in time to when he was in elementary/ primary school.
