I never knew writing a dictionary was so difficult and time-consuming before watching this

IN BRIEF: a handful of men (and two women) work together over decades to produce a new Japanese dictionary, in the face of generational changes in language and a lack of support from upper management. What does it mean to dedicate one's life to words?

MY THOUGHTS: This was a sweet show, but even with a short episode run it still felt like it was moving slowly - perhaps intentionally, to get the viewers to empathize with the years of toil the characters experienced, but regardless the pace meant that one late-night episode a day was all I could handle.
