Short and sweet - a good example of the "soothing" genre

The plot is a fantastical version of slice-of-life: the characters are all either forest creatures or tiny humanoids, who generally get along well with one another and who can spend a whole episode taking a train (how did they invent tiny trains? do humans exist, and if so, wouldn't they notice very small train tracks and clouds of smoke!?) to go fishing at a popular lake. And, as might be expected, these characters take lots of breaks for food. Thankfully, I did not have to suspend disbelief too much, as they definitely invented the bathroom as well.
