Strong start, but suffers from 12 episode syndrome.

Story: 6

Strong start, but tapers off.

As with all 12 episode long anime, the story doesn't really go anywhere. Loose ends are not tied up and some story plots were rushed in. All in all, it ended as fine as it could have ended.

Animation: 9

CGI was great!

Some of the CGI scenes were almost seamless, and the animation in general was just all round great looking, especially in some of the fight scenes. Bright settings, but were gritty when need be.

Sound: 7

Good, but not memorable.

The composers did a good job of getting the feelings that were being portrayed in each scene across well. However, nothing was remarkable. But it did the job.

Character: 7

Somewhat static.

All the characters introduced are classic anime tropes, especially Priestess. As far as character development went, it went fine, but felt unnatural at the end. At face value however, each character is likeable and enjoyable, even the ones that are supposed to be unlikeable.

Enjoyment: 8

Above average binge-worthy

Classic 12 episode binge-type anime. I would recommend this to someone who enjoys something a little bit more realistic. Not too much ecchi, and not too much comedy. Good balance of everything. Except romance, there is next to 0 romance.
