TV Tracker for
Automatically track what you’re watching on your Windows PC.
How does it work:

Simkl TV Tracker app for Windows 7/8/10 can detect what you’re watching.

Supports popular media players:
VLC (most recommended player), KMPlayer, GOM, iTunes, MPlayer, RealPlayer, DivX Plus Player, Windows Media Player, PowerDVD, BSPlayer, Winamp, MPC-HC, ehshell, AVS Media Player, FLVPlayer4Free

Supported file types:
avi, mkv, mp4, m4v

Supported partially downloaded video files:
crdownload, part, ts

TV Tracker consists of a Driver and a Tracker app. The driver scans every video file you watch on your computer. And the Tracker app communicates with Simkl API. When it detects you’re specifically watching a TV Show, it will send a ping to Simkl API with the video file information.
How to install:
  1. Download your personal installer (download link already includes your account key for the app)
  2. Open the downloaded file to start the Install
You’re done!

How to use:
Only TV Shows and Anime are supported (does not detect movies).

Open any TV episode video file. In 7–15 seconds (it may take longer times for detecting rare Anime) you will see a small popup at the bottom right corner with the name of the TV show, and it’s episode number that you’re watching.
When you watch at least 70% of the video file, the episode will be marked as watched. Sometimes the tracker can only detect the watched status after you close the video player or start playing the next file.
Once installed the tracker icon in the taskbar will display the following:
TV Tracker is running, waiting for video file
Trying to detect video file
Detected TV Show and episode, waiting for 70% watched status
Could not detect the video file
Marked the episode as watched
