a bit underwhelmed by the lack of plot (even superman seemed better in comparison) but was just swamped with too many 3d polygons. a bay assembly-line july 4th movie. nothing as impactful as id4 though. and the brit gf is just out of place.. read more

despite the fact that there's no justification for any of these movies being over 90 minutes, and they all sort of blend together, and that i think the transformers look unnecessarily intricate, and... okay i can probably keep going here, but this is actually alright. supporting cast like a coen movie, some fun set pieces, and optimus prime straight up does a fatality on megatron. read more

CHALLENGE: ROUNDING OUT THE BOXOFFICEMOJO TOP 100 95/100 ----------------------------------------------------- Michael Bay drinks our tears for breakfast. Honestly, this is so damn bad. I did enjoy the first half hour or so (a job interview with John Malkovich will haunt my dreams). The conspiracy theories and conservative politics are a special kind of comedy. But the film is do damn long. It did not have anything worthwhile to offer after 30 minutes, and it sure as hell didn't after 154. Rosie Huntington is not a good actress and Buzz Aldrin and Frances McDormand can only get you so far.... read more

unlike the two movies before this one seems lazily written. the first movie shocked fans with it's awesome designs and even the second movie which was gritty followed an interesting story line where characters die and ancient artifacts would revive them but this movie seems to be a rehashed sci fi that we have seen over and over where you have the good robots who fight for humanity despite the overlooking bad guys who come read more
