C+ Student Project - Completely Fails as a Commercial Movie.

Begins with a massive background exposition dump followed by gratuitous spaceship cgi. It is 12 minutes in before the story begins. Opens with stilted dialogue delivered in an unrealistic over-urgent style. The delivery is this way throughout so my guess it is the director at fault. The writers must also shoulder some opprobrium - the dialogue is awful and has no 'flow' to it.

The director is Serik Beyseu - just looked him up and he has produced nothing. The writers are newbies too. Everybody has to start somewhere, but this is an inauspicious beginning.

My quick rating - 4;2/10. Going in blind. This is some pretty bad dubbing so acting isn't going to be much of a grading point. The movie itself just was there since it didn't take us anywhere we haven't already been. The plot itself borrows heavily from other established scifi flix; especially Alien. Seems a shame that they had to rely on others material so much since the production of this flick was quite good.
