corazonada. de coppola bueno, pues a mí me gusta. la historia es sencilla, a veces hasta un tanto ridícula. personajes sin apenas profundidad. pero hay momentos en que eso resulta secundario cuando te encuentras con una obra tan visualmente y musicalmente bella. la música de tom waits es una delicia para los oidos. la fotografía aunque exagerada y muy cromática, es todo un prodigio. sonidos de calles, luces de neon, desierto, planos de coches. todo ello te emplaza en algo onírico con telón de fondo la ciudad, que recuerda a las vegas, pero todo muy colorido y a un hollywood de ota epoca. la... read more

The fleeting break-up of a Vegas couple on the night of the 4th of July (and on their 5th anniversary) brings both to briefly explore idealized romantic alternatives. A career-killing passion project for director and producer Coppola, who notoriously put everything at stake on this visionary musical, went way over budget and was eventually swept away by a staggering financial loss.
