the tomorrow war actually consists of two parts. a part where dan forester (pratt) goes to 2050 to deal with the "war in the future" and a part where dan is back in the present. the first part is great over-the-top popcorn entertainment, the second part takes itself way too seriously and aims to be an intelligent time travel movie. at the end of the film i noticed that i would have liked the film to have been 45 minutes shorter and that the story would really be about the future war. there is, of course, no depth to the plot of the film. you are thrown in in the first 5 minutes: "our soldiers... read more

okay we can send people back in time. how about instead of preparing for the alien invasion, we just convince people to blindly march to their deaths in the future? read more
