while not the most original of stories nor one of ivan reitman's better films nor one of nathalie portman's better films no strings attached is still an enjoyable romantic romp if romantic romps are your cup of tea. it has a lot of positives after all. it is well directed by ivan reitman, it is slick looking for a romantic comedy, it has an incredibly charming and sexy nathalie portman, it may just be ashton kutcher's best role, it is never boring, it's funny. all that adds up to a movie that is pretty enjoyable. with that said it does have problems. mainly that it is as generic as they come... read more
