equal parts silly and intriguing, superman red son presents an unique premise and weaves a sincere story around it. one of the rare few times among animated superhero movies where i was actually curious to see how the story concludes. my only major complaint would be that diana serves no real purpose in plot and adds a feminism element to the plot that's very on the nose and not self aware at all.
