man on a ledge has a completely ludicrous plot. however, people don't go to a movie like this to be grounded within the real world and within the heightened reality of the action-thriller movie world, it works just fine. sam worthington makes a solid turn as the titular character while elizabeth banks, ed harris, jamie bell and edward burns do good supporting work in their various roles. génesis rodríguez adds the most life to her performance as the spunky and sexy conspirator on the side of worthington's character. the ending is a bit of a letdown, but the build up to it is a lot of fun.... read more
