Review of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2

thank god it's over. i love my wife very much but she has dragged to these films every time and i've contemplated divorce because of it. this steaming pile of shit only made me happy because it meant the end of accompanying my wife for the next instalment. everything was wrong with this. vaguely accepted paedophilia, supposedly wise old vampires acting like they don't understand a fucking thing. no blood. why the fuck was there not lashing of gore and blood with all the heads being popped off around the place? they had her drinking blood in the last one. i find that more repellent than the idea that some blood will fly out when you take off someone's head. i'm not a vampire purist and i quite understand changing parts of the mythos, as long as you can justify it within the universe you've created. true blood does a good jobs of this with mirrors. we know the reason they changed that is because of the cost and hassle of making sure no vampires are reflected anywhere. the reason in the show is that the vampires put that myth out there so they could blend in to society easier. brilliantly simple and acceptable. twilight however decides that vampires can go out in sunlight but hey don't because they turn into a fucking disco ball. what? why? did i miss something in this series? it just makes no sense and i find myself sitting through the film trying to think of good reasons for that change. i hated this series and i bid it good riddance. the only thing i fear now is the inevitable remake in the future.....
