2023's Sharper is a cool enough thriller but left me quite disappointed as it was made by A24 and not to say I wasn't surprised throughout but by the end of the second perspective I knew EXACTLY where this movie was headed. This movie boasted a star-studded cast headlined by Juliane Moore and an hour into this movie, I turned to myself and went, "Where is she?" Of course, for the time she was in this she was good as always, but the standouts were certainly Sebastian Stan and Briana Middleton. John Lithgow was good but Justice Smith undelivered and this may be controversial, but I don't read more

Sharper is directed by Benjamin Caron and the movie is a weird experience to say the least. I think everyone have a decent performance here, but nothing too impressive and worth raving about. The first 45 minutes of this film are probably the best half of the movie, as theyre the scenes which are more of an introduction rather than a build up to the twist. I have to say, this is very good for streaming standards, especially Apple TV+ who are usually quite weak in terms of the movie collection. This was the first thing I watched in months on there!
