I don't want to be hyperbolic. I've been a fan of Bo for a long time and always apricated his comedy and art. Inside is something I am going to think about and let fuel/inspire me for a very, very long time. For me, this is formative. read more1 of

oh boy, this is a gem. a one man movie, full of silly jokes, very impressive shots and edits, and the inescapable consequences of covid and isolation. bo really knows how to show and tell you exactly what hes thinking. ive never seen something so purposefully disjointed feel so cohesive. read
more

to me, the first mistake to make when reviewing bo burnham's inside is to take it as a comedy special, i see it more as a outburst of creativity delivered in a comedic tone definitely triggered if not caused by the way things are. 'course it is not the most cohesive or structurally sound piece of film, saying whether it is good or bad comes down to how you make the definition of art. i am a true supporter of art is art (though sometimes it isn't?), so to label this dear of a piece as manufactured or bad would be very unlike me as it is obvious to me that apart from a few sequences the read
