we are now fully into the no-subtext kaiju battle phase of the series. there's a whole four kaiju battling in this one and one of them is mothra so that's a plus. standard godzilla checklist: fuck about with human story for ages - quite a bit but it makes sense with this being the first time godzilla fights for the people introduce monster 1 - rodan more human shite - yup. lots of human shite. bring in the other monster(s) - the titular ghidorah humans interact with the monster(s) - barely at all, they basically just send mothra finally the monsters clash - several clashes before the grand... read
