the parts that are actually godzilla vs. mechagodzilla? eh, they're fine. your fairly standard kaiju wrestling match with a lot of lasers. the parts where rodan and minilla unexpectedly show up and factor into the plot quite some? definitely more my speed of goofy antics. read more

big mix of good and bad here standard godzilla checklist: fuck about with human story for ages - not that much introduce monster 1 - godzilla and rodan show up in less than 15 minutes more human shite - check, though it is mixed with lots of kaiju scenes bring in the other monster(s) - check humans interact with the monster(s) - there's an entire storyline about a lady bonding with godzilla's new baby finally the monsters clash - yup quite different from the default. interesting. the only hd version of this that i was able to find didn't come with japanese audio so i had to endure a film read more
