Nurse 3-D

nurse desperately wants to be a fun, goofy, gory and over-the-top exploitation flick. it's certainly goofy, gory and over-the-top but it misses out on the fun. director douglas aarniokoski plays up the kitsch well, but amidst all of the hard r-rated content (and let's be clear; it's a very hard r) is little that suggests aarniokoski understands why exploitation films work. yes, they are cheap and they are shocking, but they're also possessed of a certain charm that this film distinctly lacks. nurse is primarily hobbled by its lead. paz de la huerta isn't as bad as some feared she would be,... read more

Why do I remember liking this only to actually hate it. I hate her face and this movie as a whole. I will go watch American Mary instead. read more
