Gangster Squad

well, this was a bit of a fuck up. when something was actually happening it was in fact quite fun but any time it stopped for exposition/talky bits it just meandered. there was no sense of going anywhere except the inevitable ending. possibly the first film in ages where the black guy didn't die, managing to make it to the end with a mere bullet based flesh wound. the t-1000 carked it though and had his dying breaths saviour moment. i was reminded more than once of dick tracy when watching this. that's not really a good thing. i expected more from this which probably exacerbated my read more
