hmmmmmm, that's the only sound that's in my head. i just don't get the love for the character of riddick. pitch black was an ok film but i never really thought "oh shit! i need to see more of this guy!" apparently a lot of people did and chronicles of riddick was born. once again, not left with a desire to see this character developed further. the world around him, yes. now we have riddick. why? there's fuck all point to this. it establishes nothing new for the character except that he might possibly be a bit of a rapist. great addition. i can really root for a rapist anti-hero.... read

i kinda like this latest, and for the time being...last, chapter in the story about one of the biggest badasses ever to grace the movie screen. vin diesel was born to play riddick, and he's just as badass in this chapter as he was in the first two. the thing is...the first two had somewhat of a story. riddick has not. it's entertaining enough, and if you are in the mood for some sci-fi action go right ahead. riddick delivers what you seek. just keep in mind that the story of riddick does not progress very far in this chapter. read
