first in kiyoshi kurosawa's 2-week challenge. i've just finished it and am stumped. i normally like k's endings, but this one left me with the feeling that i should understand more and just don't. what was on the tape? did nijima start the events by killing the daughter? while the shot of the prodigy girl with the bikes was awesome, was there something implied in it? it reminded me of the usual "guilt/ghost stares you in the face" kiyoshi kurosawa shot, compounded by how creepy miyashita was at the time, and how the girl never speaks. knowing that it was a rushed job due to the challenge and... read
