The Lords of Salem

rob zombie crafts visually interesting and creates worlds of horror in very interesting ways. they seem to me to be singular visions of the types of art that he wants to make and the types of stories that he wants to craft. the lords of salem exemplifies this in many ways, as do many of his other films. i admire his will to craft films that he wants to make and not really worry about how they are received. i'm just not sure that his films really resonate with me on a deeper level than the occasional visceral scene or two. although this film cribs other, and arguably better, films like read more
