it's been like 10 years since this documentary's release, and while i wouldn't say it has aged badly, the distance in time has made much of the directors and technicians' statements about film interesting, to put it in some way. i can't remember the last time i saw a movie printed in film, it maybe was wall-e in 2008 (the image was somewhat wobbly and you could see the small imperfections in the print, i can vaguely recall it!), and since then, movies have been a totally digital experience for me. so, it was fascinating to me to watch all of these people's views on the physical-digital read more
