Storage 24

it was just a bit "meh". i didn't connect with any of the characters and the alien didn't seem very threatening. shocking lack of fire code adhered to by the storage place as well. either that or the characters are fucking dumb. i don't care how locked down a storage unit is, you should always be able to use a fire exit. if the exits were all blocked by the plane crash then i'd understand but they didn't even attempt to use them. seeing as i thought that within the first few seconds of the "lockdown" didn't really help me enjoy the film a lot. mind you, based on the end of the film they'd read more

ultimately, storage 24 works best when it acknowledges its absurdity. the film certainly does have its high points, but it is important to note that it is a film of modest aims and thus modest successes. noel clarke, colin o'donoghue and the rest of the cast work ably within the material and director johannes roberts uses the claustrophobic setting to great effect, while the script from clarke, davie fairbanks and marc small has a sense of humor and fun about it that is not immediately apparent. this is by no means an all-time sci-fi horror classic but it is more entertaining than you might... read more
