Sightseers

my local cineworld has ~16 screens but is unable to screen smaller films on anything but the shittiest schedule. because of that i didn't get to see this at the cinema so i had to wait. it was worth the wait. beautifully dark but without the foreboding menace of kill list. i can see this happening at the same time as the events of kill list in my head. the wheatley universe is one where everything is starting to go off kilter. people are the worst possible version of themselves. one good thing about seeing this late is that i visited the pencil museum before i realised it was in the film. i... read more
