while the final film of the [rec] franchise lacks the brilliance of the original film or its immediate follow-up, it also avoids the uneven tone of [rec] 3. [rec] 4: apocalypse finishes off the series by concluding angela vidal's tale and pulls it off in largely effective fashion. the script from series creators jaume balagueró and manu diez takes the action onto an isolated ship and while balagueró doesn't use the claustrophic setting as well as he could, it still makes for some great setpieces. the best thing apocalyse has going for it is its star. manuela velasco has done great work as... read more

Stupid and idiotic decisions, and not a good ending for the whole franchise.. Still better than Rec 3 though..
