The story was really uninspired The villain of the first new star trek movies were the least enjoyable part of the movie, this time around they managed to create an even worse villain and the happenings were hard to follow and a lot of times they made no sense. As always the visuals were on point Breathtaking visuals, but would have traded it for a better story for sure It wasn't spectacular but wasn't bad either To be honest I had nothing against the sound effects but this title didn't have any memorable tracks. a good character-developing 3rd instalment of the current st reboot. the krall seemed a bit wimpy but twas scotty who engineered himself the best role, whilst bones was given the best lines. read

i usually watch star trek movies over and over and this one will be no exception. one thing that was different on this viewing and what will be the main focus of this review was that i saw the film in the barco escape format. when i heard about this format i was intrigued. when i heard star trek beyond was playing in it i wanted to go. when i heard toronto had a theatre playing it in this format it was too late. i had already seen it. but that wasn't going to stop me and so i went again. the theatre i walked into had converted the screen from an old auditorium. there were the regular seats... read
