as with the earlier 9 repackaged "young indiana jones chronicles" titles, i'll talk about this section of the adventures as a whole, just using each entry to focus on how the series uses real historical figures, in this case adapted by frank darabont. while "the phantom train of doom" perhaps has a title that sounds the most like a fit for one of the movies, this double episode is very much about a rag-tag group of real commandos more than any mysterious object. indy's life criss-crossing with all the important historical figures of the early 20th century is basically the heart of the series.... read
