7 hours has never felt so short i tell ya. i love the friday the 13th movies and this doc tells the story with clips and interviews and such from it's humble beginnings to it's most recent reboot. filled with so many iconic clips and deaths and boobies it's like watching the series itself but in a new light. i thought i would spend a few days watching this one but i couldn't stop and minus a small break in the evening (and a nap) i completed it within 24 hours. a perfect way to spend your day if you love jason vorhees. two small complaints. one, the chapter screens could of been a tad better done (looked a little cheap) and two, could not one famous star (or could they not convince one) have been interviewed? where was kevin bacon? crispin glover? terry kiser? otherwise this was amazing. just as good, if not better than never sleep again. i say if not better because i like jason and his films better than freddy and his so maybe i am biased. it even delved into the tv series which i now want to watch. so good i now have a hankering to watch the friday movies series again as well. also, amy steel hasn't aged more than a few days. she still looks great. also also, let's start a petition to get the friday movie made where all his surviving victims get together to defeat him. sounds awesome... production design: 8 out of 10 cinematography: 9 out of 10 re-playability: 8 out of 10 originality: 7 out of 10 costumes: 10 out of 10 directing: 9 out of 10 editing: 9 out of 10 acting: 9 out of 10 music: 9 out of 10 script: 10 out of 10 88/100
