That Awkward Moment

that awkward moment isn't the worst thing that i've ever seen; it's just one of the most rote, perfunctory things i've seen in a while. a distinctly by-the-numbers romantic comedy, its gimmick is that it is from a male point of view. the problem is that the trio of lead characters are distinctly bland. zac efron, miles teller and michael b. jordan are affable but they are playing typecast characters. seeing teller as the sex-obsessed douche is something that we're distressingly used to at this point and he is comfortable with the archetype, but it's one that just isn't appealing to watch. read more
