here's what i have to say about american ultra. it consists of two things. first, this film is nowhere near as bad as most of the world makes it out to be. it's kind of fun, interesting and although not the most original of films, it will keep you watching until the end. the acting is pretty good, the effects work, the locations are solid, the direction is sure handed. second, this is not the ultimate stoner action comedy that they marketed. in fact it is barely a comedy. sure it has jokes and comedy, and pretty much all of them were put in the trailer, but it's more an action drama thriller.... read more
