Magic Mike XXL

magic mike xxl lacks a bit of its predecessor's narrative strength, but it does what it can to make up for that by the strength of the cast. channing tatum, joe manganiello, jada pinkett smith, matt bomer, adam rodríguez, gabriel iglesias, donald glover and even kevin nash kill it in their delivery and their performances here. i was happy to see this didn't go the way i was afraid it might, with some overblown dance movie-style competition, but there isn't a whole hell of a lot to the story and gregory jacobs' direction isn't a lot to speak of. but it's still a mildly enjoyable time, a solid... read more
