I mean, it's not like we haven't seen plot like this in superheroes movies before.
Very good. The shots of Wakanda and that kinf of "dreamworld" were awesome, and I loved the fight filmed in long take.
I think they just did what the public wanted. We have strong female figures - the warrior, the spy, the sassy genius - but I didn't fall in love with them. I still liked them anyway, my vote woudn't have been a six if it wasn't for Killmonger: they could have done so much more with him, since he's the main villain. He says he wants the throne to free black people around the world because he has seen their suffering, and I also believe that that is his main reason, the murder of his father just adds to that. But the movie showed us only the murder, not the horrors he's seen. They are horrors we see every day, in the real world, but we don't see the emotional impact they have on him when he's the one seeing that. I think that maybe a scene or two about this could have made him a much more relatable charachter, like Magneto (to whom many people compare Killmonger - and, I might add, we actually see the horrors Magneto sees from his pov).
After all, I came to the movies to see a superhero movie. Something that had good fight scenes, and that both empowered me and made me laugh, that had that bit of reference to the problems of the real world (and this movie has a lot) but still takes me to another world for a couple of hours, a world where there are problems but there are also superheroes in cool suits and with futuristic technology that fight to solve them, or at least try. I had what I expected, so I can't complain too much.

I thought the movie was more or a 10 than a 7. Being a Marvel fan, I am defiantly going to buy this movie on DVD . It is a movie which I will watch more than once. I agree the visuals were excellent in this movie.
