The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death

the woman in black 2: angel of death is that rarest of horror films: the incredibly polite, mannered sort. it isn't often we see a fright flick that seems interested in avoiding base content, because base content is one of the most powerful tools of the genre. but when they happen, it's a very tricky thing. the others accomplished it very well; the first woman in black did a decent job. angel of death, on the other hand...not so much. this is the most british of films possible, restraining its emotions underneath a stuffy demeanor. the film seems even apologetic when it gets to its several... read more

My quick rating - 4;7/10. I could basically copy and paste my review for the first one. Boring again for 80% of the movie; and then a pretty decent finish. Hard to stand behind that performance. read more
