i collect movies. so when i buy a movie in a series i generally like to buy the whole series. i do not though buy straight to video sequels because they usually suck and i don't consider them 'official' sequels in s sense, more cash grabs that are poorly made and ruin the qualities of the first film or films. there have been though rare cases when they work. the woman in black 2 was a theatrical release, or so i believed. after watching it i believe i must of imagined that because this was as bad if not worse than a dtv movie. absolutely awful in almost every way with a story that has a great... read

the woman in black 2: angel of death is that rarest of horror films: the incredibly polite, mannered sort. it isn't often we see a fright flick that seems interested in avoiding base content, because base content is one of the most powerful tools of the genre. but when they happen, it's a very tricky thing. the others accomplished it very well; the first woman in black did a decent job. angel of death, on the other hand...not so much. this is the most british of films possible, restraining its emotions underneath a stuffy demeanor. the film seems even apologetic when it gets to its several... read
