it's not quite a documentary, but it seems to come quite close - certainly nothing like the abysmal the experiment, though that was a remake on a movie based on a novel, so there is that; still trash though. like recent the experimenter, it's a movie about a very famous social psychology experiment that led to influential reveals into authority, submission, identity and roles. and, again like that movie, it doesn't stray from this focus, doesn't slide into obvious hollywood psychology, doesn't go for a fictional sensational. it's also good as a movie though: good, tense direction; simple, read more
