full disclosure, i am watching this movie after seeing blade runner 2049. i think this movie is comprised of a myriad of problems from start to finish. for instance, most of the dialogue is noticeably unnatural, evident as soon as deckards boss opens his mouth. he is also one of a number of ill-fitting anachronisms in this film. other examples that i noticed were lines such as “questions. i dont know answers”, “theyre toys, my friends are toys, i make them”. very unnatural and in fact help to paint essentially a caricature of any foreign character. there was just a strange underlying sense of... read
