9 short animated films within the matrix world make up this feature. they are self contained and each one is directed by someone else. they are animated differently and they each have their own story to tell, either connected to the movie that came before or the ones that came after. pretty much all the segments work. some are a little weaker in story (one ends up being a dream and thus a rip off) and some are weaker in animation (i thought the runner was very weak). but they are all exciting, gory and even sometimes sexy. there is blood and guts and gore and not many happy endings. i wasn't... read more
