whose story is this movie trying to depict? mahavir singh's or geeta phogat's? is an act of defying how social perceives women equal to how a father forces his dream onto his two daughters? or is this act not about how a father forces his daughter into a marriage? this 2 hour and 49 minutes film stretches with clichés and some grand message which proves itself more conventional than it needs to be. while the acting is good, this movie muddles itself into needless glorification of mahavir singh's character where most other characters are just caricature that fits what the movie wants and read
