i started watching this about a week ago, and got three fourths of the way through it before the people i was watching it with got tired and wanted to finish it later. then later never came because they were never really into it to begin with. life went on, i watched like a billion other things, and then today i was going to press on with some new movies i bought but felt the pangs of guilt for not having finished the age of shadows, because up til the point i left it at, it was a fantastic low key thriller. turns out the rest of it is too. not so low key in the last act though. things get... read more

Long, débridé et finalement un peu décevant... Certes, la cinématographie de ce film est impeccable; le jeu d'acteurs excellent; les costumes et les ambiances vous plongent dans l'atmosphère et l'époque (on se croirait dans un article d'Albert Londres). L'histoire de ces agents doubles au triple jeu stimule l'intelligence du public.
