oh mars attacks! why did you fail at the box office? why are you not more loved? most people i know, if asked what they thought of this film, would say 'it's okay' or 'meh'. why? i think this film is great. granted, not everyone will get the humour and not all the humour works that well but when it does it's pretty damn funny. and the gigantic cast is pretty game for everything. tom jones rocks here as the man who can do everything. sure, many of the cast of characters end up being nothing more than cameo's and bit parts and sure the story as a pretty simplistic ending but the positives sure... read more

Story: 1  Visuals: 3  Sound: 4  Character: 2  Enjoyment: 2

The only interesting part of this film is knowing it's based off a 1960's trading card set.

Everything about this movies screams "Lets do it, but badly".  It feels like an attempt to create a cult classic, but like most of Tim Burton's work, it's an apathetic attempt that lacks any real heart.
