this movie was recommended to me by scarlett in round 2 of our recommendation roulette. i didn't know what to expect from this film, but i was not overly optimistic, primarily due to the presence of jack black. still, i felt that there was definite potential here. ultimately this potential was never realized. virtually the entire movie features a self-obsessed loser in love licking his wounds, talking directly to camera, repeating the same themes multiple times. the cycle here is that other than rob, all other guys are assholes and all girls are bitches. this establishes the meandering read more
