quite possibly the worst movie ive ever tried to watch. cant say its the worst ive ever seen because i didnt watch more than 45 minutes before suicide started sounding more appealing. everybody involved in this should have gotten life in prison, no parole. read more

"The French cannot be trusted." Sir Ian McKellen The Da Vinci Code is definitely better than I remembered, probably because of all the rubbish films released these past 5 years. The cast is amazing, although I've personally never been a fan of Audrey Tattoo? Tootoo? Tchoo-thoo? But I'm personally a sucker for Jean Reno, and Paul Bettany was a great addition although his Italian was a bit rough. The score is over the top but works very well for a film over the top as well. You Can (and Should) Go Your Whole Life Without Watching This.

I've gone my whole life without watching this and I really should have kept it that way. Look, I enjoy a good mystery. Puzzles. I think comparisons are dumb, but I enjoy National Treasure and not just for the memes and the ridiculousness of it, but I think it's a well-done movie. I even find enjoyment from weird biblical and pseudo-biblical junk in other stories. So I thought this would be a slam dunk. But it's just 2.5 hours of my life I won't get back. Felt like 5 hours.
