for a silent film this film isn't silent in the fucking slightest. my biggest issue with the movie is the constant, never-ending, repetitive music that's played throughout the movie. now i haven't watched many silent films at all, so i have no clue if that is just something that is in all of them. max schreck was great in the titular role of nosferatu, but that's about as far as the positives go. i greatly respect this film for what it achieved back in 1922, but i can't really say i liked it all that much. read more

This is really creepy even today. Very creative cinematography. Surprised by how well it holds up.
