if michael bay made a bond film, it would be something like this one. it has a mostly inane plot, but that is to be expected from a bond film. the problem is it is very big and loud, but not that entertaining. there are a lot of explosions that don't need to be there and most of the film is to set up one-liners that aren't anywhere near as cute as they think they are. it is clear that major amasova is supposed to be bond's equal for the soviets, but she is actually one of the more useless bond girls. you would think a top soviet agent would be a more than just a damsel in distress, but no.... read more
