all about eve is a fantastic, if maybe a tad overlong (yet still highly enjoyable) film that is a classic in every sense of the word. great acting, great direction, a phenomenal screenplay and very original. it's a dark film, with a dark ending which is very uncommon (i think) for a film from this era. it goes places you wouldn't expect, it's sad and is a very realistic look at celebrity life. it also hasn't lost any of it's sting in 64 years. it may look like an older film with it's black and white photography, blue screen backgrounds, full frame photography and typical 50's score but the... read more
