guess we'll never know what this could've been had shane black remained on board; any notion of character growth (the thing i enjoyed most about the first movie) is completely gone here. riggs & murtaugh are obviously still fun to be around, but they're stuck in a fairly generic action movie that sees me checking out whenever the proverbial shit is going down. i've always had a hard time remembering what exactly lethal weapon 2 was about, and this rewatch left me as unsure as ever about whatever story it's trying to tell. read more

It's aged well, the nostalgia runs deep. I remember not liking this one that much when it came out, I like it better now. Patsy Kensit topless makes it a must see. A fun ride that gets a little dark. read more
