the core idea and story of this film is quality and worth adapting to the big screen, but this was an underwhelming adaptation filled with wasted potential. in the hands of a more experienced and talented team this could have been a beloved film. the script desperately needed a script doctor to come in and punch it up a bit, a lot of the dialogue was clunky and a little too direct. the direction by josef rusnak was fine, but there was nothing that stood out there, it kind of felt like a tv procedural at times. the biggest problem in the film was craig bierko who was stiff and completely read more
