don't be mistaken thinking this is some "so bad it's good" deal; because this movie wears not just its influences, but even moreso its intentions right on its fucking sleeves. from characters named ridley, carpenter, raimi, weyland and yutani; to goofy musical cues and some guy going "holy donuts!" right before getting crushed by a "psycho death bot" that resembles a robotic reptile from mortal kombat. the first 45 minutes are kind of a slog, but believe me you will want to be around for when it goes into overdrive. and if that doesn't wet your beak, know that brad dourif is basically playing... read

My quick rating - 3;6/10. Not a very good sci-fi flick compared to the time about killer robots (keep in mind T2 came out a few years before) so even wit ha small budget; you have to do better than this. The robot looked awful; first off. The movie could've easily been 10-15 minutes shorter if not for scenes that just dragged ON AND ON for no reason. 10 straight minutes of shooting; 3 solid minutes of a falling elevator.
