this was on my watchlist for years but i never got around to watching it so when i finally decided to watch it i was expecting a lot, i am left quite disappointed, i even watched this in 3 seatings and as soon as i saw david ayer in the credits i knew why, denzel was pretty good, most of my issues where with the style, story, pacing and everything other then acting. and as usual with ayer films this was riddled with plot holes and tons of plot devices and story arcs that were not fleshed out. i found it very mediocre, eva mendes was the only reason this didn't felt as a complete waste of read more
